Liberty wants better racing from new circuits
Chase Carey says that Liberty Media will prioritise exciting racing as they look to add further circuits to the Formula 1 calendar. Liberty's first new race deal, the Miami Grand Prix, has come under fire from some drivers and fans over a track design that looks unlikely to give way to on-track action. F1's American owners want to swell the calendar to as many as 25 races as they look to further fatten up motorsport's highest-earning cash cow. The race in Miami is likely to be followed by a second event in China, while other US cities are under consideration, as are street circuits in Hanoi and Copenhagen.
