Alonso tops morning session at Le Mans test

Fernando Alonso set the fastest time in the morning session of the Le Mans test on Sunday morning. The two-time Formula 1 World Champion topped the first session at the test for Toyota, with a lap time of 3:21.468. The Spaniard got his Toyota TS050 HYBRID around the track just three tenths quicker than Thomas Laurent, in his R13. The second Toyota, driven by Mike Conway, was third-fastest, seven tenths off the pace. The four-hour session was brought to an early end after Marco Sorensen crashed between the Mulsanne and Indianapolis corners. Fernando Alonso WEC
