FIA Reject Williams Appeal
FIA rejects appeal The stewards of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix have rejected Williams' request to have Sergey Sirotkin's grid penalty for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix reviewed after unanimously agreeing that no new evidence had come to light. Sirotkin was also given two super license points for collision with Sergio Perez one the first lap of the Baku race. He later retired after he was involved in a separate incident with Fernando Alonso and Nico Hulkenberg. Williams requested a review on Monday and the FIA had organised a teleconference with the stewards, FIA race director Charlie Whiting and Williams sporting director David Redding earlier today.
