Spa 6-Hours: Toyota lead the way on first practice day
Mike Conway, in the #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing, set a 1:56.172 lap, over two seconds faster than the best time set in the morning session and six tenths ahead of stablemate #8 Toyota Gazoo Racing in the second 90-minute practice session. Fernando Alonso in the sister car, he is sharing with Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi, was quickest in the FP1 session earlier in the day. The best lap time for the LMP1 non-Hybrid entry was set by the #10 DragonSpeed car as Pietro Fittipaldi sets impressive 1:58.835s lap as he makes his WEC debut.
