Wolff: System between Ferrari and Haas has worked
As Williams endure a troubled start to their season, behind-the-scenes moves to establish a Haas-Ferrari style partnership with Mercedes is in the pipeline, in an attempt to return the once great Formula 1 team to the sharp end of proceedings. Word is that billionaire Lawrence Stroll, who finances his son Lance Stroll in the team, has already done the groundwork for such a scenario with Mercedes apparently open to such a partnership which would entail sharing of technology and an altogether closer working relationship. Mercedes chief Toto Wolff said of the idea, 'We have seen that the system between Ferrari and Haas has worked, it has worked for both.' 'It's an interesting revenue filler...
