Ricciardo hoping to be 'in the fight' for victory

Chinese Grand Prix – The Red Bull pairing of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen are cautiously optimistic about their chances of victory at the Shanghai International Circuit. Whilst the Red Bull's weren't able to display the timesheet-topping pace demonstrated by Mercedes and Ferrari, both Ricciardo and Verstappen were encouraged by their pace in the race simulations. After struggling with balance issues in the tricky conditions in Shanghai, Ricciardo was unable to match the pace of his team-mate or the Mercedes and Ferrari's, finishing the second free practice session in ninth place.
