Kimi Raikkonen encouraged by 'straightforward' SF71-H in practice

Kimi Raikkonen expressed encouragement over the “straightforward” nature of Ferrari’s SF71-H during practice in China, but was cautious regarding the car’s long-run pace. Raikkonen finished runner-up to Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in both sessions, but closed the gap from three-tenths of a second to just seven-thousandths during their low-fuel Ultrasoft runs. “It was a pretty good Friday”, said Raikkonen. “I’m quite happy with the feeling of the car.
