Arrivabene explains Raikkonen pit stop error

Chinese Grand Prix – Ferrari team boss Maurizio Arrivabene has explained the process that led to a team mechanic getting hurt during Raikkonen's second pitstop last Sunday. Raikkonen was in the hunt for a strong podium position during last Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix when he came into the pits with twenty laps to go to go for an aggressive final stint on the SuperSofts. However, a sticky wheel meant he was released without changing the wheel, catching his mechanics by surprise and resulting in injuries to Francesco Cigarini.
