Mystery of Jim Clark's fatal crash lingers 50 years on

Clark was an all-rounder of note, quite comfortable hurling a Cortina on two wheels around the tight confines of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit as he was power sliding his Cosworth V8 powered Lotus Formula 1 car through the forests of Spa-Francorchamps. His stats of 72 grand prix starts, 25 wins, 32 podiums and 33 pole positions is virtually unmatched in terms of percentage success rate.
