Force India 'didn't have top ten pace' in Australia

Force India deputy team principal Bob Fernley admits his team has work to do after it failed to show top ten pace in Australia on Sunday. The Silverstone-based outfit qualified outside the top ten on Saturday and were never in contention for points until the latter stages of the race when the two Haas cars ahead retired, moving Sergio Perez up to P11 where he battled with an unwell Carlos Sainz for the final points position, but failed to find a way past. Force India have been the fourth-quickest team for the past two seasons, but look to have dropped to seventh in Australia.
