FIA inaugurate Hall of Fame gallery in Geneva

The FIA inaugurated the new gallery of the FIA Hall of Fame today in Geneva, as representatives of the sport gathered at the FIA’s administrative offices for the meeting of the World Motor Sport Council. Formula One World Champions Sir Jackie Stewart and Jacques Villeneuve as well as the sport's new boss Chase Carey attended the inauguration, officially opening the new gallery alongside FIA President Jean Todt. The concept of the FIA Hall of Fame was first launched in Paris in December 2017. There, 33 winners of motor sport’s most prestigious title were honoured by the sport’s governing body.
