Leclerc: I've arrived at Sauber at the right time
Charles Leclerc says timing in F1 is everything, and he reckons he has arrived at Sauber at the 'right time.' Bottom of the log the last two years running, Sauber are hoping for better this season thanks to their new partnership with Alfa Romeo. The new deal has brought Sauber closer to Ferrari while also ensuring the team of brand new engines. It also helped Ferrari protégé Leclerc secure his promotion into F1. 'Timing is one of the most important things in motorsport, I think, to be arriving at the right time,' the 20-year-old told Sky Sports.
