F1 commissions Hollywood composer to write theme music

Liberty Media has commissioned musician Brian Tyler to compose the new theme music for Formula 1 ahead of the 2018 season. Tyler, 39, has worked as the composer of a number of notable Hollywood films in the past including Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, five editions of The Fast and the Furious franchise, Now You See Me, Thor: The Dark World and Power Rangers, and has scored three of the top 10 films of all-time in global box office. Tyler confirmed he had been working with F1 on some new music in a tweet posted to his account on Friday, calling it "a life-long dream come true".
