Renault takes wraps off 2018 F1 challenger

Renault has taken the covers off its 2018 Formula 1 contender, the RS.18, as it plots its path back towards title contention in the sport. Renault, a title-winning operation in the mid-2000s, scaled back its involvement in the sport at the start of the decade, acting most prominently as Red Bull’s engine partner. The manufacturer returned full-time for 2016, acquiring its previous operation – then running under the Lotus banner – and placed ninth overall, scoring just a smattering of points.
