Mercedes: We are trying to identify the next Lewis Hamilton

Although Mercedes chief Toto Wolff believes it is a no-brainer that Lewis Hamilton continues with the team for the foreseeable future, at the same time he is covering his bases by supporting talent through the team's junior driver development programme that has uncovered the likes of Esteban Ocon and Pascal Wehrlein. Wolff revealed in his season preview, 'We are trying to keep our eyes open to identify the next Lewis Hamilton for in five, six or seven years when Lewis eventually decides he has had enough of Formula 1.
