Toto Wolff: Formula E has grown 'against all odds'

Mercedes' Toto Wolff has praised the Formula E championship for its growth 'against all odds' as fans and manufacturers flock to the all-electric single seater series. Now in its fourth season, Formula E has grown considerably since its inaugural race in 2014, attracting automotive giants such as Renault, Citroen, Audi, BMW and Nissan to the series.  While the field currently operates at ten teams and 20 drivers, the championship is set to expand further in 2019 as both Mercedes and Porsche join the electric revolution which will soon have more teams and drivers than Formula 1.
