Williams backs governments 'Year of Engineering' initiative

Williams and the British Government are working together to raise the profile of engineering amongst seven to 16 year olds as part of the 'Year of Engineering in 2018' initiative launched in January. The Grove company, which encompasses its Formula 1 team and its advanced engineering department has joined forces to bring its expertise, which stretches back more than 40 years to when Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head founded Williams F1, to the initiative. Williams has long supported the promotion of STEM subjects and practical technical education with its various educational programmes.
