Sainz enjoys 'awesome experience' at Rallye Monte Carlo

Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz Jr. took a first step towards following in his father's rallying footsteps by completing one stage of the Rallye Monte Carlo on Sunday in a Renault Megane R.S. The son of rallying legend Carlos Sainz Sr., Sainz Jr. was a special guest for the final day of the FIA World Rally Championship season-opener in Monte Carlo as Sebastien Ogier kicked off his title defence with a convincing victory. Sainz completed the La Cabanette-Col de Braus power stage behind the wheel of a Renault Megane R.S., the designated course car for the rally, calling it an "awesome experience".
