Renault wary of ‘high maintenance' customers

Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul is ready for an 'interesting' season ahead as they try and cater for themselves, as well as two high-profile customers in Red Bull and McLaren. There will be more pressure on teams regardless of other relationships due to the new three-engine limit for the 2018 season, but Renault are braced for a very demanding campaign trying to keep their clients happy whilst trying to progress as a works team. 'Actually, I think there is more positives than there is some negative in those relationships, even though I accept it's going to be high maintenance and going to be an interesting season to manage,' Abiteboul said via Motorsport.com.
