Kimi Raikkonen's race engineer leaves Ferrari

Race engineer David Greenwood, who had been working closely with Kimi Raikkonen for the last few season at Ferrari, has left the Italian team. The British engineer joined the Scuderia back in 2015 and has cited personal reasons for his decision to move on. Ferrari engine man Sassi was no phenomenon - Marchionne Ferrari has has not yet revealed who may replace Greenwood or work alongside Raikkonen in 2018, but with pre-season testing just six weeks away an announcement should be forthcoming. Furthermore, it is believed Greenwood could accept a role with Manor Racing as the British outfit ramps up its WEC programme in the LMP1 category with its Ginetta prototype.
