Horner: Bad engine reliability cost us 160 points

Red Bull boss Christian Horner has pointed to bad reliability as the biggest enemy of the team in 2017 and cost them what might have been second place in this year's constructors' world championship, his observations could also be interpreted as an early warning to Renault ahead of the 2018 season. The energy drinks team run TAG Heuer badged Renault power units which contributed to the bulk of the team's 13 DNF's and countless grid penalties for their drivers Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo this season.
