Boullier hails Button's contribution to McLaren
As McLaren ends it contract with Jenson Button, racing director Eric Boullier has paid tribute to the Briton's contribution to the Woking-based oufit's history. Button remained contracted to McLaren this year, substituting for Indy-bound Fernando Alonso at Monaco and working as the brand's ambassador. But the Briton now moves on to another chapter in his motorsport life, one which won't include McLaren for the first time in eight years. "Jenson has been a brilliant driver and ambassador for us, for Formula 1 and for England as well," said Boullier.
