Tony Fernandes: Formula 1 was a disaster for me

Malaysian businessman Tony Fernandes spent three years in Formula 1 as owner of Lotus Racing which morphed into Caterham F1 Team, and looking back reveals that promises of budget cuts went unfulfilled and in the end resulted in the collapse of the project. Fernandes admitted in a BBC radio interview, 'Formula 1 was a disaster for me… we didn't do very well.' 'I was on the grid with some of the greatest brands and for me life is it just about success, it's about doing things you believe in.
