Verstappen under investigation
Max Verstappen's second place on the Mexican GP grid is under threat, with the Red Bull driver being investigated for allegedly impeding Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas. Stewards are looking at an incident on the first Q3 runs when Bottas encountered a slow Verstappen entering Mexico City's atmospheric Stadium Section, with the Mercedes going around the Red Bull which was on the inside. Bottas locked up under braking for the next corner and has told Sky F1 that Verstappen "definitely ruined my lap". However, Verstappen is confident he did nothing wrong, telling reporters: "For me, there is no incident." The two drivers have been summoned to see the stewards at 9pm UK time....
