Fat lady ready to sing for Hamilton in Mexico

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is a racing certainty to become Britain's first four times Formula 1 world champion, only the fifth driver to do so in the history of the sport and any lingering smidgen of doubt should be swept away at a coronation in Mexico City where the fat lady is likely to sing. Hamilton's victory at he United States Grand Prix where he beat Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, thus taking a step closer to the title, prompting Mercedes boss Toto Wolff to chirp: 'The fat lady hasn't sung yet, but we can see her backstage.'
