Williams confirms Kubica/di Resta test
illiams chief Paddy Lowe has confirmed that the team will test Robert Kubica and Paul di Resta, as it continues to evaluate its potential 2018 driver line-up.While Lance Stroll is expected to stay on for a second campaign, the identity of his team-mate remains unclear, with Williams assessing several options.Kubica, who raced for BMW and Renault between 2006 and 2010, sustained serious arm injuries in a rally crash in 2011, but has been exploring the possibility of a return to Formula 1.Kubica completed private outings in 2012-spec Renault-run cars and was afforded the chance to drive the squad's R.S.17 during in-season testing at the Hungaroring in August.Renault admitted it did not get...
