Bottas would understand Hamilton backing

– Valtteri Bottas has not ruled himself out of this year's title fight, after a tough Belgian Grand Prix, but would understand if Mercedes ultimately backs Lewis Hamilton.Valtteri Bottas entered the summer break as the in-form driver, having claimed five straight podiums and moved to within just 19 points of team-mate Hamilton.However, he lacked pace at Spa-Francorchamps and could only finish fifth, describing the weekend as his "most difficult" since joining Mercedes from Williams over the winter.As a result, Bottas is now 34 points adrift of Hamilton, and a further seven behind Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, as Formula 1 heads towards the final flyaway sequence.On remaining...
