Bottas not happy with ‘average' season

Valtteri Bottas has described his season as 'average' so far and believes that his best performances are still to come. After making the switch from Williams to Mercedes, Bottas has become an outsider for the World Championship title but has made a valuable contribution toward the Silver Arrows' 39-point lead in the race for the constructors' title. However, Bottas was hoping the gap to World Championship leader Sebastian Vettel would be closer than 33 points.
