Sauber appoint Vasseur as team principal

Sauber have officially confirmed Frédéric Vasseur as their new team principal, replacing Monisha Kaltenborn. The Swiss team have been without a leading figurehead since June 21 after Kaltenborn's shock departure, due to 'diverging views', was announced. Drivers Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein claimed that they have been left in the dark ever since she left her role, but former Renault boss Vasseur has now taken up the role.
