Canadian Grand Prix: Hamilton supreme as Ferrari fumble

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton was in supreme form as he powered to victory in the 50th edition of the Canadian Grand Prix, on an afternoon in which he led from lights to flag and ended narrowing the points gap from 25 to 12 as Ferrari fumbled. In the wake of his sensation pole position lap 24 hours earlier, where he matched the Ayrton Senna's record of 65 top spot starts in Formula 1, he was again dominant comfortably winning the race from his teammate Valtteri Bottas in second and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo in third.
