Pirelli confirms Austrian Grand Prix tyre compounds

Formula 1's official tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed which tyre compounds it has made available for the Austrian Grand Prix in July. The same campounds used last year will again be available, the Ultrasoft, Supersoft and Soft – Pirelli's three softest compounds. As per the regulations, one set of ultrasofts must be saved for use in Q3, with a set of the supersoft or softs used at least once during the race. The allocation is the most common so far this season, with Australia and Russia having already used the same three compounds, whilst both Monaco and Canada will also use them.
