McLaren to ‘support' Honda customer search

McLaren racing director Eric Boullier has confirmed Honda are looking to provide a customer engine in 2018. There are strong rumours that Sauber will ditch the old Ferrari engines in favour of a partnership with Honda from next year onwards, and Boullier has said McLaren will help them achieve their goal. 'We will provide support in finding a customer,' Boullier told German publication Blick. 'This year, Honda would not have been able. Everybody would have been weakened, but now things are different.
