Race: Vettel beats Hamilton to Bahrain win

Tyre strategy played a crucial role in the outcome of the Bahrain GP as Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton mixed it up, setting up a thrilling chase and a victory for the Ferrari driver. Under the lights, Formula 1 witnessed an early five-way fight for the lead of the Bahrain GP with Valtteri Bottas led ahead of Vettel, Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo.
