VW to attend F1 engine meeting

Lamborghini boss Stefano Domenicali will represent Volkswagen when Formula 1's engine bosses meet in Paris on Friday to discuss 2021 regulations. Although Volkswagen have often refuted any suggestion of them entering Formula 1, the marques will be present in Paris with VW sending new Lamborghini boss Domenicali, the former team boss at Ferrari, to Friday's meeting. Domenicali will join the FIA as well as Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault and Honda at the meeting. However, Motorsport-Total.com is quick to point out that this is 'not necessarily about a possible entry in 2021.'
