Vettel fastest for Ferrari, but masks pace
– Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel set the quickest time of pre-season testing, despite hiding some performance, while there was more strife for McLaren-Honda, during Thursday morning's session in Spain.Vettel flew to the top of the table with a 1:19.341 on Soft tyres at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, before edging closer to Valtteri Bottas' benchmark from Wednesday by clocking a 1:19.310 on Super Softs.This was achieved despite Vettel backing off hugely as he exited the final corner, coasting across the line, losing several tenths of a second in the process.Vettel repeated the feat twice on Ultra Softs, winding up with a 1:19.024, the fastest time of the six-and-a-half days held so...
