‘McLaren-Honda relationship at maximum strain'

With yet another engine related problem limiting McLaren's running in Spain, Eric Boullier acknowledges that the team's relationship with Honda is under 'maximum' strain. Stoffel Vandoorne managed just 34 laps on Tuesday morning as the second of the two pre-season tests got underway in Barcelona. Honda confirmed that it was an 'electrical issue with the PU' and opted to replace the power unit with some reports suggesting that was the seventh engine change over the course of five days of testing.
