Williams forced to miss final day of first test
– Williams has confirmed that it will not take part in the final day of the first test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya due to the damage sustained in Lance Stroll's crash on Wednesday.Stroll, having spun off through the middle sector shortly before the lunch break, ended Williams' running for the day when he crashed on the exit of Turn 5 in the afternoon.Williams held hopes of repairing the damage to enable Stroll and team-mate Felipe Massa to carry out wet-weather running on Thursday, but the team has had to abandon its test."Following a thorough inspection overnight some damage to the FW40 chassis was discovered and therefore, on safety grounds, the team will not run the...
