Toro Rosso hindered by drivetrain issues
– Toro Rosso has revealed that repeat drivetrain problems severely hindered its programme on the penultimate day of the first pre-season test in Barcelona.Daniil Kvyat was restricted to 31 laps in the morning, when the problem arose, with Carlos Sainz Jr. adding just 32 more before a terminal stoppage in the afternoon.Toro Rosso's combined mileage came in at just under a race distance, while Mercedes, which also split its running, amassed 170 laps, equivalent to two-and-a-half Grands Prix."A frustrating day as we were not able to complete our planned run programme," commented Jody Egginton, Toro Rosso's Head of Vehicle Performance."We started the morning with Daniil...
