Manor officially withdraw from Formula 1
Manor have pulled out of the 2017 season after notifying the FIA that they have officially withdrawn their entry. It brings an end the very minor hope that the team could be resurrected, amid rumours that Chinese investors were interested in reviving Manor for the upcoming campaign. Now that they have no entry, any party that is interested in scooping up the remaining Manor assets would then have to set-up as a brand-new outfit. According to Autosport, Manor's chief Stephen Fitzpatrick has written to the FIA to notify it officially that his team was withdrawing from the F1 championship.
