Bottas the first driver to complete full race simulation on Tuesday
Barcelona Testing – Valtteri Bottas was the first driver to complete a full race simulation on Tuesday. The Finn drove only the afternoon session on the second day of pre-season testing, after team mate Lewis Hamilton had completed aero runs and data logging in the morning. Bottas did 14 laps before moving onto a full 66 lap race distance simulation on the soft tyres, a fantastic achievement for the team at such an early stage. “I think it was another good test day for the team. We did so many laps again and completed all the runs that we had planned to do,” Bottas said. “I worked on race simulations this afternoon.
