Alonso left frustrated after losing entire morning of running

Barcelona Testing – Fernando Alonso was left frustrated having lost the whole morning session of the first day of pre-season testing. The McLaren driver returned to the pits after his first installation lap only to discover an oil system issue, which would take several hours to fix. McLaren changed his Honda power unit for a new one and have sent the faulty one back to the factory to be investigated. “It’s definitely not a perfect start to winter testing. In terms of the performance point of view we have to concentrate and try to recover the time. We are disappointed to arrive on the first day and not be able to run.
