Mercedes debuts 'shark fin' during testing

– Mercedes debuted a 'shark fin' on its W08 during the afternoon of the opening day of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Valtteri Bottas completed 79 laps during the morning running in Spain while running the conventional engine cover, as featured on the W08 during its launch last week.However, when Lewis Hamilton appeared after lunch, as scheduled, the W08 sported a 'shark fin', with an opening at the top of the element.Mercedes had previously been the only team not to model the aerodynamic device, which was last seen in the sport in 2011.
