Mercedes W08 hits track at Silverstone
– Mercedes' new car, dubbed the F1 W08 EQ Power+, has broken cover at Silverstone, with Lewis Hamilton completing its first laps as part of a filming session, prior to the car's launch later on Thursday.Mercedes has dominated Formula 1 since the sport introduced 1.6-litre V6 power units in 2014, sweeping to three straight 'double' championships, courtesy of Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.In 2017, Hamilton will be joined by Valtteri Bottas, following Rosberg's shock retirement, while new regulations will be introduced, led by overhauled aerodynamics and much wider Pirelli tyres.Hamilton debuted the W08, which sports a similar livery to 2016, at a damp and windy Silverstone on Thursday...
