Lauda: New regulations will help Bottas

– Mercedes Non-Executive Chairman Niki Lauda believes Valtteri Bottas' adjustment to the outfit will be aided by the introduction of new regulations this year.Mercedes recruited Bottas from Williams to replace Nico Rosberg, who opted to call time on his racing career after clinching the 2016 title in Abu Dhabi.Bottas only joined Mercedes in mid-January, giving him a short build-up among new surroundings prior to the start of pre-season testing at the end of this month.Lauda, though, reckons the timing of the overhauled technical regulations, which feature increased levels of downforce and wider Pirelli tyres, will benefit Bottas."He does not have much time to settle in,...
