Ecclestone: My F1 future now up to Liberty

– Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has admitted that there are no guarantees over his future in the sport, as Liberty Media's proposed Formula 1 takeover edges closer.Liberty, which initially took on an 18.7 per cent stake in Formula 1 last September, has been working to acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Delta Topco, F1's parent company.Liberty secured the approval of its stakeholders, and motorsport's governing body, the FIA, earlier this week, with the final deal expected to close before the end of the month.When the media company began its involvement, Ecclestone stated that he was asked to stay onboard for three years, but now concedes his future is in Liberty's...
