A new dawn for Pascal Wehrlein

The new is more predictable than groundbreaking, but Sauber has agreed a deal with Pascal Wehrlein for 2017. The German, who spent New Year's in Mauritius, his mother's home country, was hoping early on receiving the plum Mercedes drive following Nico Rosberg's retirement. But he'll have to be content with joining the ranks of Sauber where he'll be pitted against the improving Marcus Ericsson.
