Latifi hopes to expand Renault F1 role

– Nicholas Latifi says he hopes to expand his role with the Renault Formula 1 team, following his first year of being affiliated with the manufacturer in 2016.Latifi, 21, joined Renault as a test driver at the start of the year and completed mileage in the squad's 2012 car, the E20, during private running at Silverstone and Valencia.Latifi's original plan to participate in a practice session did not materialise this year, and he is optimistic that he can increase his involvement with Renault in 2017. "I have been involved with the team at a number of F1 race weekends and experiencing the races from behind the scenes, working and being part of it, makes me want it even...
