Alonso samples Honda's RC213V at Motegi
– McLaren driver Fernando Alonso completed laps on Repsol Honda's RC213V MotoGP bike during the Japanese manufacturer's 'Thanks Day' at Motegi.Alonso, for a second successive year, demonstrated the bike at the annual Honda event, which took place at the home of the Japanese Motorcycle Grand Prix, with around 20,000 fans in attendance.The Spaniard was joined on his demonstration run by compatriot Marc Márquez, who swept to a third MotoGP title this year, which he clinched at Honda's home circuit.Alonso's outgoing McLaren team-mate, Jenson Button, and 2017 partner, Stoffel Vandoorne, were also present, along with MotoGP's Dani Pedrosa and other Honda-affiliated drivers and riders.An...
