Ecclestone confirms French GP reports

– Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed reports that the French Grand Prix is set to return to the calendar from the 2018 season, and that it will likely take up a July slot.French radio broadcaster Europe 1, among other national outlets, report that an initial five-year deal has been agreed, with an official press conference to take place in Paris on Monday.It also states that the Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur region, the Var department and the city of Toulon are all behind plans to revive the event, following what would be a 10-year absence."Yes, I think it will happen," Ecclestone explained to news agency Reuters, when asked for a response to the...
