Dennis steps down from McLaren role - reports

 XPB Images Ron Dennis has stepped down from his role as CEO and chairman of the McLaren Technology Group, per multiple reports. The 69-year-old, who owns 25% of McLaren, has been asked to relinquish his duties in the wake of a power struggle with  fellow shareholders - Bahraini sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat (50%) and long-time friend Mansour Ojjeh (25%). Dennis, who has been at the helm of the British company since 1980, had already been told that his contract will not be renewed once it expires in mid-January.
